Below are some of the questions most regularly asked when enquiring about booking Surround to play at your wedding or function. If you do not find the answer to your question below, or would like more info then please don’t hesitate to contact us.

HOW LONG DO YOU PLAY FOR?

Our typical wedding set is 4 hours long (generally 8pm – 12pm) with a break during the evening buffet. We will normally perform around 80 songs over the course of the evening.

DO YOU PROVIDE MUSIC BEFORE YOU START AND DURING BREAKS?

We will provide background music before we start, during the buffet and while your guests are leaving. This will be a mixture of current chart hits and classic songs, which do not form part of our live set.

Alternatively you can give us an ipod (or cd player!) with a mix of songs you would like to hear.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Glasgow and will travel to most locations in central Scotland within one hours drive. We can perform at locations outwith this area, however, there may be an additional fee. Please contact us for details.

CAN WE CHOOSE A SONG FOR OUR FIRST DANCE?

Of course, it’s your wedding! We will be happy to learn and perform a song of your choosing, although please give us at least 2 weeks notice to learn it

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO BOOK SURROUND FOR MY WEDDING?

All weddings are unique, so our fee can vary dependent on the size of venue and location. Please contact us for a custom quotation.

WHEN DO I PAY FOR THE BOOKING?

There will normally be a 25% deposit payable on booking with the balance payable on the day of the wedding by cash or cheque.

CAN I CHOOSE THE SET FOR MY WEDDING?

Part of our service is putting together a great wedding set and carefully planning the order the songs are performed to ensure your wedding builds to a floor filling crescendo. We also try to ensure there is a bit of something for everyone in our set. If there are certain songs you would like to hear however then please feel free to request them and we will do our best to include them for you.

WHAT TIME WILL YOU ARRIVE AT THE VENUE?

We will normally arrive at least 1 hour before we are due to start performing and can be set up and ready to play in 40 minutes. We will contact the venue prior to the wedding day to check arrangements regarding access etc.
